The new Tundra has moved form its standard 5.7L - V8 engine to the new i-FORCE 3.5L twin-turbo V6 or the i-FORCE MAX 3.5L twin-turbo V6 hybrid both delivering awesome power and efficiency.

The i-FORCE 3.5L twin-turbo V6 offers 389 Horsepower with 479 Lb-FT of torque while the i-FORCE MAX 3.5L twin-turbo V6 hybrid offers a whopping 437 Horsepower with 583 Lb-Ft of torque.  Both are quite impressive and help with a max towing rating of 12,000 Lbs.

With the use of cameras and sensors the Tundra's driver assistance technology helps to easily hook up any trailer and keeps you in a straight line as you back up.

Another big upgrade form the previous Tundra is the 14-inch Multimedia touchscreen which will keep you connected and in more in control of all your devices.  Works with iPhone as well as Android apps.  Also gives you a nice large view when backing up or attaching to a trailer.

Toyota has also added Blind Spot Monitor (BSM) and Integrated Trailer Brake Controller (ITBC).  Which is designed to warn you when a vehicle approaches into your blind spot on either side of the vehicle and when activated the (ITBC) system automatically senses when a trailer is connected and calculates its length and activates the trailer merge warning.  Toyota also added Rear Cross-Traffic Alert (RCTA) which while reversing detects vehicles approaching from either side and warns you with side mirror indicators and warning tones.  Altogether bringing another layer of safety to the Toyota family of vehicles.
